Born and raised in Arnprior, Ontario.
Attended Queen’s University – BSc (Hons, Mathematics), MSc.
Was at one time employed as a computer programmer/analyst for firms in the insurance, financial services, and engineering fields. Have taught mathematics at post-secondary level.
Completed mortgage brokerage program at Seneca College.
Currently work part-time at St John’s Church, East Orangeville, as its administrator (8 years).
Engaged in volunteer work (local political associations) as treasurer.
Have lived in Shelburne for nearly 8 years in a condominium; served on its board for three years (as secretary and as treasurer).
Have attended Town of Shelburne Council meetings; recommended construction of pedestrian crosswalk. Sought vacant councillor’s seat in 2017.
