Local Advocacy
The Dufferin Board of Trade is committed to representing a robust voice for business in Dufferin County and the Headwaters Region. We support initiatives that will benefit the business community, identify business issues, and develop recommendations for government. Our strong non-partisan relationship with government representatives at all levels allows our organization to engage the business community and government in constructive dialogue. DBOT has a seat at the table as a trusted and reliable voice for the business community in the Headwaters Region. We are proud members of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, and Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and work together with the entire Chamber Network to ensure that the concerns of the business community are heard and solutions are developed to foster growth and create jobs.

Business Issues Surveys:
The Dufferin Board of Trade conducts an annual survey of the local business community. The data collected is used to identify the issues impacting business in our region, and help our organization shape our strategic priorities. This survey helps us to focus on supporting businesses in the areas they need it most.
