I have always been fortunate to call Orangeville my home. I’ve stayed in this community by choice, not by chance. Over the years I’ve watched it change. Orangeville’s growing pains are a big part of why I’m putting my name forward for council.
I spent my younger years as a manager in big-box retail before going out on my own. Today, I am self-employed. I own and operate the local escape room as well as a residential building inspection business. Through these career paths, I have learned to be budget-minded and level-headed.
On council, I’ll push for smarter use of tax dollars. Building a community should not only be for the now but also for the future. I would like to see growth that doesn’t cost Orangeville its small-town character. Orangeville’s future is worth building — but not at the expense of its past.
