Jaylor Fabricating Inc.
Jake began his vision as a business entrepreneur in 1985. When the chance to design and manufacture a better TMR (Total Mix Ration) feed mixer for dairy and beef farmers was presented, he took full advantage of the opportunity. The final design, once manufactured and tested, was enthusiastically received in the market. Jaylor has introduced since that time additional models including a mini version of the mixer available in stationary, trailer and self-propelled modes. Jake’s further development of the feed mixer has led to 24 patents around the world with an additional 14 pending. The Jaylor mixers are currently marketed in 47 countries making JAY•LOR® a truly global company, with its roots firmly planted in rural Ontario.
Family Transition Place
Family Transition Place has been committed to helping women and children in Dufferin and Caledon since 1985. In times of crisis, women have found their way through our doors and into safety, often with their children in hand, and here they start the arduous work of re-building their lives. In our welcoming and cheerful shelter, they meet other women who may share their experiences and they also meet some wonderful, caring women whose professional lives are dedicated to helping them overcome their challenges and build new relationships – at the centre of which are the relationships with themselves and their children.

Headwaters Dental
Headwaters Dental business’s sound relation with the staff is one the most important factors behind it’s success. Headwaters Dental promotes, encourages and educates its staff by offering continuing education for self improvement, dental benefits for the staff and family, bonuses that are tied to performances and team building projects that are offered on a quarterly basis. Our quarterly outing on July 22nd was a surprise to the staff. They were asked to meet outside a banquet hall, Bombay Palace, in Brampton at 10:00 a.m. where a limousine was waiting for them. The staff boarded the limousine and stopped for a breakfast at a Tim Horton’s on the way to The Niagara Falls. The surprise kept unfolding when the limousine stopped at the Niagara outlet mall and each staff was given money in an envelope. They had 1.5 hours to spend the money with one condition, they could only pamper themselves. There was pizza waiting for lunch in the limousine as it continued its onward journey towards the Niagara District Airport where the Helicopter ride over the falls was reserved for the staff. The limousine then dropped the staff at the banquet hall in Brampton for an evening of dinner and dance.
