My name is Mardi-An Ziegler and I am running for Council in my home Township of Melancthon.
Melancthon Township and area is where I was raised, schooled, worked and lived for over 30 years. I am the eldest of Bob and Debbie Fawcett.
I am currently a retired Registered Practical Nurse, Graduated with Honours.
I volunteered Coaching T Ball, Baseball, instructor for Karate/Goshin Jujitsu, Headwaters Hospital and Hospice Dufferin. Past member of the Presbyterian Church Horning’s Mills, Dufferin Piecemakers, Queen’s Bush Quilters, 4H Clubs and currently member of Horning’s Mills Women’s Institute.
Running for office is a way for me to give back to the people and Township of Melancthon what they have invested in myself and my family.
Protecting our natural resources including water and safety of residents are on the top of my priority list if elected.
