Jeff Patterson
My name is Jeff Patterson and I want to be your Mayor. Over time, I have developed the knowledge and experience and possess the passion to be your Mayor. My career and life choices have been targeted with this goal in mind. Now is the time to put my name forward in service of the Town.
My Orangeville upbringing was in a community and business focused, conservative family. My parents’ devotion to family and community has been my inspiration. My father, Arnold, served on Orangeville Council for over 26 years, including terms as Mayor and as Dufferin’s Warden. My mother, Viola, was also very involved in the community. My wife Sandra and I have raised our son, and my career has evolved to the point where I can now direct my energy and passion to be your Mayor.
Our Town has huge potential and an extraordinary opportunity to become even better. I can unlock this potential to ensure a bright future for Orangeville.
With a master’s degree in business and formerly a Certified Professional Accountant by profession, I have had a successful business career. I have led companies from entrepreneurial start-ups to multinational companies, and my business has taken me across Canada and around the world. My business interests continue as a Broadway retail operator in Orangeville, and I’m proud to say that there have now been four generations of the Patterson family in retail in Orangeville dating back to 1933.
On the lighter side, I have been a musician for over 50 years in Orangeville-based bands. Friends and colleagues will tell you that I bring the same level of passion to everything I do whether business, community or entertainment.
I want to be your Mayor and bring my experience to the table by working for YOU. On October 24, make the call and vote PATTERSON for leadership and a bright future!
