I’m a 5th generation Dufferin farmer. Have worked on and off farm since I was old enough to carry a bucket of water. Growing up on a cow-calf farm I developed a solid work ethic, appreciation for being a good neighbour and passion for our local natural environment.
Having worked in animal sciences for years I have strong critical thinking and problem solving skills within professional settings. I have actively attended council meetings and volunteered on committees the past 15 years. – Economic Development Task Force (2015/16) – Chair of Mulmur Parks Advisory Committee
(2011-present).
It’s no secret that businesses in Mono/Dufferin need better support. As Mayor I commit to reducing redundancies, wait times and be accessible to
businesses. Also, focus on potential future business by implementing youth skill development programs (pre-apprenticeship, co-op,
etc).
I will advocate for better support of agriculture and supporting businesses. Thank you.
