Dufferin County, ON — January 22, 2026 – The Dufferin Board of Trade has officially launched its Annual Business Survey, inviting businesses across Dufferin County to share their experiences, challenges, and outlook for the year ahead.
The Annual Business Survey plays a vital role in capturing real-time insights from the local business community. The information collected is used to advocate for business needs, inform policy discussions, track economic trends, and strengthen programs and services designed to support businesses of all sizes and sectors.
“Local data matters,” said a representative from the Dufferin Board of Trade. “When businesses share their perspectives, it strengthens our ability to advocate on their behalf and ensures that decision-makers understand the realities facing our local economy.”
Survey responses help identify key themes such as workforce challenges, rising costs, growth opportunities, and overall business confidence. The aggregated findings are shared with government partners, community stakeholders, and economic development leaders to help guide evidence-based decision-making.
The survey is confidential, takes only a few minutes to complete, and is open to all businesses operating in Dufferin County, including small businesses, nonprofits, home-based businesses, and larger employers.
The Dufferin Board of Trade encourages all local businesses to participate and ensure their voices are reflected in advocacy efforts throughout the year.
