Diana Morris,

Executive Director

Diana Morris is the Executive Director of the Dufferin Board of Trade (DBOT) and an Accredited Chamber Executive. She holds a diploma in Business-Marketing and a certificate in Human Resource Management from St. Clair College, and has completed several courses and certificate programs in finance and management. She is currently in the process of completing the Certificate in Economic Development program through the University of Waterloo.

Diana joined the DBOT team in early 2015 after deciding to relocate to Dufferin to purchase a farm and start tilling the “Hills of Mulmur” with her husband. Together with their two teenage daughters, they are raising about 75 acres of field crops, a small herd of pygmy goats, a few cattle, some ducks, lots of chickens, and a few other random farm animals. Diana spent the seven years prior to joining DBOT working at a farm equipment dealership in Wellington County, and the four years before that in the banking industry. She is responsible for managing DBOT’s operations, ensuring that the needs of the Dufferin business community are well served.

Jaemilyn Gavino,

Communications Manager

Jaemilyn Gavino is the Communications Manager at the Dufferin Board of Trade. She is a passionate content creator and a skilled storyteller, with extensive experience in media communications. Jaemilyn initially joined DBOT in 2022 through the Canadian Summer Jobs program and has been a valuable full-time member of the team ever since.

Despite graduating during the pandemic, she earned an honours degree in Media and Communications, which has equipped her with the necessary skills to thrive in her career at The Dufferin Board of Trade. Working as a part of a small but dedicated team, Jaemilyn is responsible for a variety of tasks that require her creativity and media knowledge. Her role at DBOT has allowed her to broaden her knowledge and experience of working for a Board of Trade, a nonprofit and our social enterprise.

Cindy Boston-Brown, Business Development Manager

Cindy Boston-Brown is the Business Development Manager for the Dufferin Board of Trade (DBOT). Cindy is a passionate outgoing advocate dedicated to building a vibrant local community that supports and encourages small business growth. With a foundation in Business Administration from Seneca College and a diverse background in both client relations management and senior executive support, Cindy brings a unique perspective to the table, blending a strong and diverse set of business skills with grassroots energy and enthusiasm.

Cindy finds joy and inspiration living in the country alongside her husband and beloved cockapoo. From tending her gardens, to staying active, Cindy embraces a holistic approach to well-being that enriches her daily life. Community theatre involvement provides a canvas for her creativity and personal growth.
