Diana Morris is the Executive Director of the Dufferin Board of Trade (DBOT) and an Accredited Chamber Executive. She holds a diploma in Business-Marketing and a certificate in Human Resource Management from St. Clair College, and has completed several courses and certificate programs in finance and management. She is currently in the process of completing the Certificate in Economic Development program through the University of Waterloo.
Diana joined the DBOT team in early 2015 after deciding to relocate to Dufferin to purchase a farm and start tilling the “Hills of Mulmur” with her husband. Together with their two teenage daughters, they are raising about 75 acres of field crops, a small herd of pygmy goats, a few cattle, some ducks, lots of chickens, and a few other random farm animals. Diana spent the seven years prior to joining DBOT working at a farm equipment dealership in Wellington County, and the four years before that in the banking industry. She is responsible for managing DBOT’s operations, ensuring that the needs of the Dufferin business community are well served.
Business Development Manager
Lisa Thompson is the Business Development Manager at the Dufferin Board of Trade. She holds a diploma in Travel and Tourism from Humber College. Lisa joined DBOT in early 2018 after many years of experience in the Travel Industry in both the retail and wholesale sectors.
Lisa lives in the Hills of Mulmur with her husband, two boys, and their two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering in the school, spending time with her children, and baking.
Lisa is happy to be part of the DBOT family and enjoys meeting all of the amazing members and businesses in Dufferin County.
Paige Maywood is the Administrative Assistant at the Dufferin Board of Trade. She graduated from George Brown College in August 2021 holding a diploma for Business Marketing. Also having received several certificates in digital and social media marketing as well as analytics and database management.
Paige joined DBOT in mid 2021 after graduating from college. Having lived in Dufferin County her entire life, familiarizing with all the local businesses. Prior to working at DBOT, Paige has gained lots of experience in various restaurant and retail industries.
She lives in the township of Amaranth with her family and some four legged friends. In her spare time she is always making something, whether it is sewing, painting, embroidering or anything else she can teach herself.
