The OCC has identified four critical questions that have yet to be addressed by the provincial government regarding the province’s incoming cap and trade system. These questions are:
  • What will be the economic impact of the cap and trade system?
  • How will cap and trade revenue be invested and administered?
  • How, and when, will offsets be available?
  • What will the cap and trade system look like after 2020?
