Bryna Sabourin

Bryna Sabourin is a lifelong on and off Orangeville resident, early childhood educator, assistive technology professional, and first-time municipal candidate. She hold a Master’s degree in Disability Studies with a minor in Leadership, Diversity, Community, and Culture from Brock University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Bryna is running to make local government more accessible, understandable, and inclusive. She wants residents to understand how municipal government works and realize that they too can participate, speak up, and run for Council. As a Millennial who left Orangeville to pursue education and returned home, Bryna understands the challenges facing young adults who want to build a life here but struggle to find meaningful employment, afford housing, and establish themselves in the community they call home. Her goal is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, identify barriers, and work towards practical solutions for Orangeville.
