Brad Reid is a Shelburne resident, husband, father, entrepreneur and community volunteer. Raised in a small farming community, Brad developed a strong work ethic and a belief in helping where help is needed.
Since moving to Shelburne five years ago, he has become actively involved in the community through the Shelburne Horticultural Society, helping lead the community food bank garden, supporting children’s arts programming through STREAMS, volunteering at local events such as Haunt in the Park, and regularly attending or watching Council meetings.
Professionally, Brad is an inventor and Founder of a developing technology company specializing in biofiltration furniture and indoor air testing systems.
Brad is seeking municipal office because he believes Shelburne’s rapid growth should be matched by responsible spending, stronger community connection, better health and wellness services, and thoughtful infrastructure planning. He wants to bring practical thinking, creativity and a strong community-first work ethic to Council.
