I am proud to have called East Garafraxa home for the past 10 years and am seeking a seat on Township Council because I care deeply about our community and want to be a responsible, accountable voice for residents.
I am a husband, father and grandfather of four. Before retiring, I owned and operated a successful automotive repair shop for 25 years and participated in the local high school co-op program. Running a small business gave me experience managing budgets, contracts and financial decisions, while teaching me the importance of listening and finding practical, fair solutions.
My experience building our home and severing our property also gave me insight into the Township’s Official Plan, by-laws and rural issues.
My priorities are responsible growth, fiscal responsibility, roads and infrastructure, and open communication. I will bring a practical, common-sense approach to Council, listen to residents, ask questions and do the necessary homework to make informed decisions for our community.
