Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who come from diverse backgrounds and businesses to represent the vibrant business community and foster a healthy economic environment for our community. They include Industry Representatives (elected by the DBOT membership for a two year term), Municipal Representatives, and Standing Committee Reps. Meeting at minimum quarterly, The Board of Directors donate their time, expertise and knowledge to advocate support or concern to various levels of government, and other private and public sector organizations. DBOT volunteers and staff are guided in their day to day activities by our mission and vision. Our Board of Directors are charged with the overall responsibility for DBOT strategic direction and policy.

Joe Andrews

(Leave of absence during the 2018 municipal election period)

Joe Andrews is recognized for his extensive accomplishments as a post-secondary administrator and educator as well as for his varied media and entertainment career successes.As a post-secondary education professional for over 25 years, he is well-known for leading the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning’s third campus in Orangeville, Ontario since 2006. Joe served as Chair of the Dufferin Board of Trade for two terms ending in 2017.

Matthew McClure has been working for Scotiabank for six years after graduating from Central Connecticut State University in 2009. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance after receiving a golf scholarship to play on the NCAA Division 1 Men’s golf team.
