Shelburne Auto and Cycle is a family owned automotive repair facility located in the town of Shelburne. We perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on all cars and light duty trucks as well as repairs to on and off-road motorcycles.
Chris Ferris, who started at Shelburne Auto as a Co-op student in high school, ended up buying the business from Niels Pearson in April of 2015. Shelburne Auto continues to be a participant in the Co-op placement program at Centre Dufferin District High School and Currently employs 2 full time apprentices.
The Ferris family believes that charity starts at home. Some examples of their generosity include supplying dozens of filled backpacks for local children in the community.
Collecting stockings for the senior Santa hamper program.
Donating to the local breakfast program and food bank, supporting the local Natasha Patterson Memorial Car Show as well as the Jennifer Widbur Memorial Hockey Tournament.
Chris along with his dad and 2 sisters, Lee-Anne and Melanie, have donated 8 iPads to the oncology unit at Headwaters Hospital, donated hundreds of Chemotherapy comfort bags and made monetary donations to Hospice Dufferin, all above charitable contributions were done in memory of Chris’s mom Lynne, who lost her brief, but courageous, battle to cancer.
