“It is truly an honour for our committee to present these distinguished awards to outstanding women in our business community,” Liz Skorski, Chair of the Dufferin Women in Business Committee, said. “Each nominee should be very proud of their accomplishments, and I extend my sincere congratulations to all our award winners.”
The Gala began with a networking cocktail reception with music provided by local musicians, Sara Rose and Ryan Avery. A locally inspired four course dinner prepared by Lavender Blue was served with the awards ceremony immediately following. Attendees were addressed by the Honourable Sylvia Jones, Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services, to open the awards ceremony.

About the Sparkle Awards

It is a symbolic meaning of prosperity, strength, harmony, purity and peace. These awards encourage everyone to be the diamond in their rough and be the best they can be.
