As a father, homeowner, and someone who grew up in Orangeville, Austin is running for Town Council to bring fresh perspectives and better representation of all life stages. He aims to represent young families and working-age individuals to ensure our entire community’s needs are reflected at a governance level.

Austin has a passion for fiscal responsibility, accountability, transparency, property tax management, public safety, and disability accessibility. His primary focus is restoring connection with the GTA, believing that the sale of Orangeville’s railway corridor has limited the town’s ability to enhance the local economy and has done a disservice to commuters and residents. His goal is to collaborate with the municipal and provincial governments to create an improved commute and transit strategy.

Austin believes that local leadership needs modern solutions and is running a campaign without uninvited door-knocking and cluttered roadsigns, and invites voters to connect with him on their terms.
